Rahma Cancer Patient Care Society

The Cancer Patient Care Society (CPCS), Rahma (Mercy), and the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) have entered into a co-operative agreement to co-ordinate their efforts and spread awareness about factors causing cancer, its prevention and treatment.

They will work together to educate the community about the dangers of cancer and the importance of early diagnosis.

The agreement advanced the UAE’s approaches for promoting community-driven humanitarian work to support the state’s initiatives to combat cancer, raise awareness and provide therapeutic and prevention services to cancer patients.

Under the agreement, the two sides will exchange information and experiences, work together to devise a joint work strategy and co-organise lectures and workshops aimed at raising public awareness about the humanitarian and charitable issues. They will also work to promote each other’s message, objectives and activities.

Rahma will also tap the ERC’s experience in raising funds for cancer patients’ treatment.
